window.localStorage vs document.cookie (short)

I’ve ran some tests on window.localStorage and document.cookie – the short verdict is that window.localStorage is definitely faster. More detailed numbers and discussions to follow.

If you haven’t read my previous update: document.cookie has a restriction on number of cookies allowed. So at this stage, I would start moving to HTML5 and window.localStorage.
